Tweeting on the set of Anderson Live
I need a nap.
How’s that for a zippy start to a blog post? It’s true. I’m so tired I can’t write my typical run on sentences. You’ve been warned.
I was up at 4:00 AM. In the car at 4:45. It was freezing. In NYC by 6:15. Looked for parking for 20 minutes. Walked to CBS Studios. Greeted online friends in real life outside where it was freezing.
Did I mention was freezing?
I’m amazed by people who drag their butts out of bed this early every day, like all the people who work at Anderson Live. They were even cheerful.
The show began at 9. It was freezing. Yes I was inside.
It’s now 3:30, I’m home and I’m still freezing. I think I have a problem.
I had a great time at the show. I drove down with Wendy, the editor of Bethel Buzz and we had lots of time to chat and catch up. We met as reporters / columnists for Patch.com a few years back. We lamented over the loss of one of the best freelance gigs ever.
I had the pleasure of meeting a whole bunch of mommy bloggers . We didn’t get to talk on camera, but @hellomap of Forever51 danced for swag. She rocked! I tried to get a good shot of her moves (but I kinda failed).
You can check out their blogs now (while I get some rest).
The Real Housewife, Life According to Julie, Just A Busy Mom, One Funny Motha, Love and Lunchmeat and Melanie . I know I missed someone…please forgive me. i don’t function well on three hours of sleep. I’m not that young anymore, which was illuminated today by those bright lights. Hmph. Not only does the camera add 20 lbs, (no it’s not 10), but the studio lights add 10 years.
So in reality, I’m 20lbs lighter and still 30. I feel better now.
I came home to this. It’s beautiful, right? The kids are excited. The Princess just said she can’t wait to hit me with a snowball. I told her to enjoy it because…
Nothing lasts forever, not even cold November…snow.
Sorry G ‘n’ R.
It’s perfect weather for a warm blanket…couch…nap.
