I’m excited to announce that I have partnered with Great Homeschool Conventions to share news and information about their upcoming convention year. Disclosure: I am compensated for sharing this information with you, but all opinions are my own.
To start, you should know that I have only been to one homeschool convention ever. Here in New England, conventions are few and far between (hint, hint – we need a GHC up here).
I know that this convention has so much to offer beyond seeing curriculum options up close. It gives us an opportunity to connect in person with like minded homeschooling parents and provides encouragement and helpful sessions about a variety of homeschooling topics. While you’re busy learning new things (or browsing the offerings of hundreds of vendors), the kids will have plenty to do at the Children’s Convention and teen sessions.
So go get your planner. Now! I’m not yelling, just strongly suggesting…
Here are the Great Homeschool Convention Dates for 2014:
- Greenville, SC March 20-22
- Cincinnati, OH April 24-26
- Ontario, CA June 12-14
Freebies for your Homeschool:
As a special treat for readers, Great Homeschool Conventions and Creation Ministries International have come together to offer homeschooling families this free digital bundle.
- Why Does a Good God Allow Bad Things? (Video download, presented by Gary Bates)
- The Greatest Hoax on Earth? by Dr Jonathan Sarfati (ebook/epub download format)
- Creation Magazine (Digital Edition)
I’ll be sharing more information about the upcoming conventions soon. And I’m planning on attending the South Carolina event (road trip!) with my girls, so if you’ll be there too, drop me a line so we can meet up! 🙂
Do you attend a homeschool convention every year? Why or why not? Tell me in the comments!
