One of our favorite ways to learn about a new topic in depth (without pressure, worksheets or textbooks) is to read a biography and study the life of a single person who has made a difference in the world.

- Take the kids to hear him speak live at a Great Homeschool Convention this spring in your area.
One of the many benefits of approaching a unit study on such a personal level is that we often find ourselves deeply inspired by the person we are learning about. There is more than simply academic knowledge being gained here. We are learning about character, integrity and (best of all) hope.
