I type now with chilly fingers. They will stay this way until sometime in May, 2017. It’s the price I pay for taking up residence here, in addition to the high cost of living and Lyme disease. Am I counting? Apparently yes.
Autumn is, as you probably know, spectacular here. Also, it’s short. One barely has time to soak in the color before it all falls to the ground and turns that awful shade of dead brown. If you aren’t a fan of The Gilmore Girls, really, you should be. The show has a way of making life – the ordinary and extraordinary – seem funny, charming, and totally worth hanging around for.

The new episodes will be released on November 25, which is perfect timing. That’s the most depressing part of fall here, after the color of death takes over and before the first snow. If you took away all the days from January 10th through April 21st, November 25th would win the Dreariest Day of the Year award.
So, are you ready? There’s still time to catch up by marathon viewing all seven seasons. Order your take-out and get to work. I believe in you.
