We spent a steamy day last week wandering through the art installations and smelling the roses at the New York Botanical Garden. For the next few months, you can see the Chiluly glass art installations in person, paired with poetry created by NYC students. The poetry was as amazing as the sculpture! The photos below are just two of the many sculptures found throughout the gardens.
We took a little time out to smell the roses at the Peggy Rockefeller Rose Garden.
Above is my favorite, named the Rose of Hope, and it smells sweeter than anything I’ve ever encountered.
Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to visit the Children’s Adventure Garden, because we were too busy with the grown up exhibits! Basically, we love everything at NYBG and find new and interesting things to learn about each time we visit. You can read about our previous adventure here.
